DPTECH LLC, the developer of CuberPal ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application CuberPal (the "App").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Email address
  • Display name or username
  • Profile picture (optional)

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App:

  • Solve times and statistics
  • Session data and solve history
  • App usage, diagnostics, and device information used to operate and improve the App
  • Advertising and attribution information where the App presents ads or measures an acquisition campaign

Video Recordings

When you use our AI analysis feature, video recordings of your solves are processed to provide the requested analysis and associated solve history. Video analysis is currently for 3x3 solve videos. Do not record or upload anyone else without their permission.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
  • Process and analyze the solve videos you choose to submit
  • Track your statistics and progress over time
  • Improve and personalize your experience
  • Provide the Daily Cube Challenge, feature-request board, support, and account-related messages
  • Process payments for premium subscriptions
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Authentication (Clerk)

We use Clerk for user authentication. Clerk processes your login credentials and authentication data according to their Privacy Policy.

Payments (RevenueCat)

Premium subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective privacy policies. We do not store your payment card details.

Product infrastructure and video analysis

CuberPal uses service providers to host its application backend, store and process submitted solve videos, and deliver requested AI analysis. They process data only as needed to provide those services to us. We do not sell your solve videos.

Analytics, diagnostics, ads, and feature feedback

We use Mixpanel for product analytics, Sentry for crash and performance diagnostics, Google Mobile Ads for advertising, and WishKit for the in-app feature-request board. These providers may receive technical, usage, device, or advertising-identification information necessary to provide their services. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

Data Retention

We retain account, solve, and subscription information for as long as needed to operate the App, maintain your history, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can delete individual solves in the App. For an account or data-deletion request, contact us; some records may remain where the law or an Apple purchase record requires it.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request a copy of information we hold about you
  • Opt out of promotional communications

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
